Life really did imitate art in central Frumpton earlier today, when the FX Expo worlds very own Dorothy, shouted aloud, “it is not a webcast, it is not a webcast, it is not a webcast”. Just like in the Wizard of OZ, the webcast magically turned into a virtual expo.

Dorothy Mantlepiece, the head of obtaining money for old rope at Mega Show Expo, grew increasingly tired of being told her event was nothing more than a charade for making money, using basic webcam technology.

Mantlepiece commented to awaiting reporters “just because it looks like a webcast, and certainly using the same technology as a webcast, doesn’t mean it is. I am just tired of negative people harshing our vibe and not supporting our bleeding-edge webcam-based online extravaganza”.

With many of the normal expo attendees also mirroring the actions within the hit film, by claiming “there’s no place like home” sales appear sluggish with just lead generation firms, call centres and CRM providers ‘attending’.

Many commentators are still expecting Blandface to bring the old expo magic, with his usual trick of turning a $20,000 USD fee, into a spectacular array of beautiful hot air on the final day.

We will be reporting live from THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A WEBCAST 2020, stay tuned.
